Langfords Catering Butchers will supply you with LOCAL PRIME BEEF brought from Welshpool Smithfield every week, then killed and hung for two weeks.

We have a large CATERING OPERATION with qualified staff to do the job.

Our SPACIOUS PREMISES are clean and well-maintained with large new fridges. All orders are delivered by our fleet of REFRIGERATED VANS which operate throughout the area on a regular basis.

We offer a PORTION CONTROL service which costs a little more, but saves the customer money in the end.

Our buyer can be found in Welshpool Market every Monday and you are welcome to call in there to see for yourself the quality of the cattle we buy. We have our own pen marked
"JOHN LANGFORD'S PEN".

We buy only the BEST cattle to ensure that the beef we sell is SECOND TO NONE.

We have our own COOKHOUSE which produces large quantities of PIES, PASTIES, SAUSAGE ROLLS & COOKED MEATS. A range of CATERING PIES is also produced in four-portion trays; Steak, Steak & Kidney, Steak & Ale, Chicken & Mushroom, etc as well as Meat or Vegetable Lasagne, Game Pies, Garne Pies, Cold Cutting Pies and many more items.

We have a great deal of experience in arranging HOG ROASTS and catering for PARTIES and other functions.

We have a range of equipment for hire including FRIDGE VANS & TRAILERS, FRIDGE COUNTERS and COMMERCIAL BARBECUES.

We are pleased to tender for show sites to promote our quality meats and serve our range of CARVERY BEEF, LAMB & PORK as well as our popular BEEFBURGERS & LAMB BURGERS.

OUR 3 NEW MOBILE CATERING VANS really look the part and we are always happy to pay good money to attend shows & other events.

All our staff have been carefully trained in FOOD & HYGIENE and hold the appropriate certificates-some at an advanced level. All our units have been inspected and approved by Montgomeryshire Environmental Health Office & are registered with them.

We are happy to act as Judges at local shows FREE OF CHARGE where we can use our expertise in LAMB or BEEF.

If you would like to arrange something different for your Young Farmers Club or Womens Institute etc, we can offer a 2-hour MEAT DEMONSTRATION at a costs of £40-£50.
